The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Shopper in Another World

The anime adaptation of Hifumi Asakura and Yamakawa’s The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Shopper in Another World novels started on January 9, and now more voice actors are getting ready to join the cast.

Episode 9 airs today, and with it comes the following cast additions:

  • Hina Yomiya (Anna in The Dangers in My Heart) voices Lilith
  • Kana Hanazawa (Mitsuri in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba) voices Melissa
  • Ami Koshimizu (Holo in Spice and Wolf) voices Amaranth

Yoshihide Yuuzumi (Onee-chan ga Kita) is directing, with Masanao Akahoshi overseeing scripts and Hiroyuki Moriguchi adapting character designs for the East Fish Studio production. The opening song is Asaka’s “Give & Take.”

Square Enix publishes the manga adaptation via its Manga UP! service and sums up the story like so:

Ken’ichi, a single man who’s almost 40, is suddenly transferred to another world. As he navigates his way through the dangerous forests of that world, he realizes that he can use a huge online shopping site. Ken’ichi aims to use his cheat ability to live a slow life in another world!
