The anime premieres on January 11, and will stream on Netflix.

Itsuro Kawasaki writes and directs, with Takahiro Tamano as assistant director, Yukiko Ban as character designer and chief animation director and Jun Ichikawa on music for the GAINA production.

The story of Babanbabanban Vampire follows a 450-year-old vampire named Ranmaru Mori who works as a live-in part-timer at a public bathhouse. Since he’s on the hunt for the ultimate taste, “the blood of an 18-year-old virgin,” he must protect the virginity of Rihito, the only son of the bathhouse, at all costs. This plan starts to unravel when Rihito falls in love with a girl in his class, kicking up Ranmaru’s desperation.

Babanbabanban Vampire is currently serialized in Akita Shoten’s Bessatsu Shonen Champion magazine.
