Premiere details have been revealed for the Babanbabanban Vampire anime, which is on the way to adapt the BL (Blood Love-Comedy) manga by Hiromasa Okujima. The series will kick off its broadcast in Japan on January 11, 2025, with Netflix planning to stream it around the world.

There are also two new cast members, pictured left to right below: Katsuyuki Konishi as Umetaro Sakamoto and Akira Sekine as Kaori Yamaba.

The story of Babanbabanban Vampire follows a 450-year-old vampire named Ranmaru Mori who works as a live-in part-timer at a public bathhouse. Since he’s on the hunt for the ultimate taste, “the blood of an 18-year-old virgin,” he must protect the virginity of Rihito, the only son of the bathhouse, at all costs. This plan starts to unravel when Rihito falls in love with a girl in his class, kicking up Ranmaru’s desperation.
