Ryo Hiromatsu’s Uglymug, Epicfighter series started out as a novel before being adapted into a manga with illustrations by Osamu Kozuki, and now it’s getting an anime adaptation. The official accounts for the isekai comedy series revealed that EGG FIRM and WHITE FOX are working on the anime, with voice actor Junichi Suwabe (Dandy in Space Dandy) in the lead as Shigeru Yoshioka.
Other details are light at the moment, but there’s an official website and X (formerly Twitter) account, as well as the teaser visual below.
Square Enix publishes the Uglymug, Epicfighter manga adaptation in English via Manga Up! and describes the story like so:
