Visual:
Fairouz Ai (Jolyne Cujoh in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean) is in the lead as Ruriko alongside Satoshi Inomata as Murata. You can see their respective anime designs below.
The original manga first made its debut in the pages of Kodansha’s Morning magazine in September 2020, and November 21 will mark the launch of the 15th volume in Japan.
The story follows an officer worker named Murata, who meets a gyaru-style girl names Ruriko while she’s selling beer at the ballpark. She acts cold toward Murata, even as he becomes her first regular customer, but when he’s not around her innocent personality comes into the light.
Jun’ichi Kitamura (Fluffy Paradise) is directing, with Shigeru Murakoshi (The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse) on series composition and Fumio Iida on character designs for the EMT Squared production.
