We’ve known for a while to expect Tower of God Season 2 sometime this July, but now we have an exact date. The adaptation of SIU’s webtoon series will finally make its way back to screens on July 7, 2024.
The official accounts shared a new key visual along with the news:
Tower of God Season 2 has Kazuyoshi Takeuchi as chief director, Akira Suzuki as director, Erika Yoshida as series composition writer and Miho Tanino, Seigo Kitazawa and Isamatsu Kashima as character designers. Kevin Penkin provides music and The Answerstudio is on animation production.
The anime adaptation of SIU’s webtoon of the same name is produced by Telecom Animation Film and directed by Takashi Sano. The first season aired in April 2020 and Crunchyroll describes it like so:
Reach the top, and everything will be yours. At the top of the tower exists everything in this world, and all of it can be yours. You can become a god. This is the story of the beginning and the end of Rachel, the girl who climbed the tower so she could see the stars, and Bam, the boy who needed nothing but her.
