Hidetaka Adachi, also known as Otsuichi, previously worked on anime projects like Oblivion Island and Summer Ghost. Adachi’s latest task is writing the animated series My Daemon, which is being produced at Thai animation studio IGLOO STUDIO. Featuring direction by Nat Yoswatananont, the series is officially set to make its debut on Netflix on November 23.

My Daemon is set in the near future, after Earth briefly overlapped with Hell due to a nuclear explosion, unleashing a polluting dust. The series follows Kento, who finds daemon named Anna in the forest and raises her. The two team up and venture out to save Kento’s mother.
