We got more details on the Stupid Angel Dances with the Devil anime—based on the Oroka na Tenshi wa Akuma to Odoru manga by Sawayoshi Azuma—back in July, and now it’s time to check out a new cast member. The latest voice actor to get in on the adaptation is Rie Kugimiya (Kagura in Gintama), who is coming aboard to voice Liz.

As previously reported, Yuma Uchida is in the lead as Masatora Akutsu alongside Ayane Sakura as Lily Amane. The anime is being written and directed by Itsuro Kawasaki (The Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting), with Yuko Yahiro (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) handling character designs, Takuro Iga (Oshi no Ko) on music and ANLA on music production at Children’s Playground Entertainment.
The series follows Masatora Akutsu, who has ventured to the human world to search for an idol for demons. It’s there that he meets Lily Amane, but after inviting her to join him he soon learns her true identity as an angel, and now his aim is to make her fall from grace.
The Stupid Angel Dances with the Devil anime is set to premiere in 2024.
