A new original anime was announced from the folks at Pony Canyon and Tatsunoko Production’s BAKKEN RECORD label. Turkey! takes its name from the bowling term, and its story—which is penned by live-action drama writer Naomi Hiruta—will be set in Chikuma City, Nagano Prefecture. The tagline on the teaser visual, which shows a view of the city from Obasute Station, says “Fun doesn’t begin to describe our story.”

Alongside Hiruta is character designer Airi Takekawa (“Ippon” Again!), with music production handled by Pony Canyon and animation production from BAKKEN RECORD. We’ll have to wait for more information, including the anime’s format and release date.
