October anime Warlords of Sigrdrifa will premiere with a one-hour episode, it was revealed today.
That reveal comes alongside a brand new trailer for the series, which is about fighter pilots who can use magical powers.
The high-flying series, created by Re:Zero mastermind Tappei Nagatsuki, kicks off October 3.

It’s animated at A-1 Pictures, and is helmed by debut director Hirotaka Tokuda, who worked as an episode and animation director on Record of Gancrest War. Other crew members include:

Music: Shigeo Komori and Hajime Hyakkoku (K-ON!).
CG animation: Graphinica (Girls und Panzer)
Meanwhile, cast members revealed today include:
Hiroaki Hirata: Ichiro Satomi, Tateyama base commander
Shigeru Chiba: Maintenance team leader
Yuichi Nakamura: Ronge
Tomokazu Sugita: Kinpatsu
Mafia Kajita: Curasan
Akari Nanawo is on the opening theme, “Higher’s High,” and Spira Spica is on the ending theme, “Sayonara Namida.”
We have no idea how to pronounce Warlords of Sigrdrifa, but we’re looking forward to the series anyway.
