With the lengthy full title of Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai, AKA The Teenage Pig-Rascal Doesn’t Dream of Bunnygirl-senpai, writer Hajime Kamoshida and illustrator Keeji Mizoguchi’s light novel series is making its way to TV in anime form. The adaptation now has an official schedule, lining the series up for an October 3 debut on Asahi Broadcasting Corporation.
Further premieres will follow on Tokyo MX, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, BS11, and Nagoya Broadcasting Network on October 6.
The story of Seishun Buta Yarou follows high school boy Sakuta Azusagawa, who always perceives his professional actress senior Mai Sakurajima to be dressed as a bunny girl, even though no one else does. Together they team up to investigate the mysterious “Puberty Syndrome” phenomenon.
Sōichi Masui directs the anime, with production by CloverWorks.
