According to an announcement on the official website, the Ninja Girl & Samurai Master anime is getting ready to kick off its third season in 2018. Based on the four-panel gag manga by Naoki Shigeno, Ninja Girl & Samurai Master returns to the small screen this April.
The third season, titled Nobunaga no Shinobi ~Anegawa Ishiyama-hen~, looks to cover the Anegawa/Ishiyama arc, which depicts the historical battle between Oda Nobunaga and Tokugawa Ieyasu’s forces and those of Azai and Asakura.
Director Akitarou Daichi (Kodocha, Kamisama Kiss, Fruits Basket) is back at the helm, along with character designer Junko Yamanaka, composer Toshio Masuda, and other key members of the anime’s staff. Cast members will also be reprising their respective roles.
