Live Dragon Quest Stage Event Previewed

Square Enix’s long-running, wildly popular Dragon Quest RPGs are making the leap to the stage in Japan, with the Dragon Quest Live Spectacle Tour set to celebrate the series’ 30th anniversary this summer.

This is just one aspect of a multi-pronged approach to celebrating the big 3-0, and it includes stops in Saitama, Fukuoka, Nagoya, Osaka, and Yokohama. The event will feature songs, dance, and combat enhanced with copious special effects. The action starts in July, but you can see a sampling in the promotional video below.
