Alka hits the ground running in Blade & Soul, and for good reason. She’s been accused of murdering her own teacher, so naturally there are plenty of bounty hunters and other folks chasing after her. The true killer behind her master’s death was a heartless woman named Jin Valel, and Alka aims find her and get revenge with her blade that can famously slice down enemies in one swift motion.
Through all the slicing and dicing that takes place on her journey, Alka must also frequently wrestle with her master’s dying wish that she leave the life of an assassin behind. Even if she finally gets revenge, will she be able to abandon the trail she’s so thoroughly blazed?
Hiroshi Hamasaki (Steins;Gate) and Hiroshi Takeuchi (episode director on Rage of Bahamut: Genesis) team up to direct Blade & Soul, with Atsuhiro Tomioka (Zetman, Samurai 7) on series composition for the Gonzo production.
