Hello, everyone! It is a vacation season, and I am seeing more American tourists, cosplay and otaku culture fans visiting Akihabara!

As you know, Akihabara is known as the center of otaku pop culture, electronic goods, and attracts people from all over the world. In order to welcome people warmly, Akihabara launched “Omotenashi” [Hospitality] Project with eight original character representatives and a fun theme song. The characters are high school students of ‘Akihabara International School’ from different countries such as America, Korea, India, and France. Aren’t they CUTE!? The theme song is easy to sing along to, so you can do Karaoke along with it!

This project aims to improve the quality of service of stores and tourist centers to ensure worldwide visitors have a great time in Akihabara. Participating stores and visitor centers post the Omotenashi logo at the doors. Visit them and have fun in Akihabara!
