October 6, 2008 After the success of the first in Gainax’s series of fresh Evangelion films, Evangelion: 1.0 You Are [Not] Alone, we all knew it wasn’t going to be long before the second reared its mighty head. Now, thanks to the relaunch of the official website, the title and (tentative) release date for the follow-up has been confirmed.
Fans can look forward to the early Summer days of next year, as they should herald the release of Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance. As reported over at ANN, 2.0 promises “new Evangelions,” “added items previously unknown to anyone,” and “a shocking new story, and new visuals.”
Anyone here seen/enjoyed/hated the first of the new Eva flicks yet?
