You may have heard a while back about the venture between employees of Pixar and the Totoro No Furusato National Fund, the latter of which has been fighting to save the land that served as inspiration for Hayao Miyazaki’s classic My Neighbor Totoro. The collaboration between the two has now served up artwork by about two hundred artists, all based on or inspired by Miyazaki’s work.
These pieces can be found on the Totoro Forest Project website, and can be bid on by anyone with the funds. Proceeds go toward the battle against urban development that threatens the piece of land, so either dive into your money bin like Scrooge McDuck or, if it’s more within your means (as it is mine), just take a gander at all of the cool artwork offered up on the site.
