Sad news came out of Tokyo this week, with the announcement that voice actor Junichi Goto has passed away at the age of 40. The actor, who was known for roles like the title character of the Inferno Cop anime by Studio TRIGGER, was rushed to the hospital after a motorcycle accident, and was later pronounced dead as a result of head injuries.

The accident was a single-vehicle collision with the side wall of the Haneda Route along the Shuto Expressway. Our thoughts go out to Goto’s family, friends, and fellow industry members.
