Madoka Magica: Magia Exedra Game Teased in English Trailer

Madoka Magica‘s Magia Record mobile game is about to end service this July, but the dark magical girl dream lives on in a new game. Madoka Magica: Magia Exedra is set to launch sometime this year, and Aniplex recently shared an English teaser to get everyone ready for what’s to come.

We’ll get to see more of the game in a livestream scheduled for July 2 at 8:00pm Japan Time, which is 7:00am Eastern Time on the same day. Check out the tease while we wait below.

Madoka Magica: Magia Exedra is in the works at Pokelabo (SINoALICE) and f4samurai (Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story), with Aniplex in charge of planning and distribution.

Crunchyroll streams the Puella Magi Madoka Magica and the Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story anime, describing the latter like so:

In exchange for the fulfillment of a wish, Magical Girls keep fighting, unbeknownst to the rest of the world.

But Iroha Tamaki can’t seem to remember her wish.

“When I became a Magical Girl, what did I wish for again?”

There is a gaping hole in her life. Something important has been lost. But she continues to fight every day, without even knowing why…

Then, a rumor begins to spread among Magical Girls.

“Magical Girls can be saved if they go to Kamihama.”

Kamihama City, the city where Magical Girls and Uwasa are gathering.

The story of Iroha Tamaki, in search of her lost wish, begins…
