BanG Dream! It’s MyGo!!!!! Anime Films Set for Fall Premiere in Japan

Back in January, plans were revealed for a pair of compilation films for the BanG Dream! It’s MyGo!!!!! anime. Now we have a better idea of when to expect them. Both films are due out in Japan this fall, starting with the first, Haru no Hidamari, Mayoi Neko (A Sunny Spot in Spring, A Stray Cat), in early fall. The second film—Utau, Bokura ni Nareru Uta & Film Live (Sing, the Song That Can Define Us & Film Live—will follow in late fall.

Beyond that, sequel series BanG Dream! Ave Mujica will air in Japan starting in January 2025.

The BanG Dream! It’s MyGo!!!!! anime TV anime is directed by Koudai Kakimoto at Sanzigen with scripts by Yuniko Ayana. It’s available to stream on Crunchyroll, which describes the series like so:

The best way to fit in at a new school? Start a band! Anon has just transferred to Haneoka Girls’ Academy where girl bands are all the rage. But she started school late, so there aren’t many girls left to recruit. Then she meets her first friend and Haneoka’s misfit, Tomori, who’s hesitant to join. Still, Anon is determined to persuade Tomori and experience the true power of friendship and music.
