I am so happy when Summer comes. It is like a major invasion of cosplayers! The weather is so good and it is easy to cosplay many characters and take great pictures outside!
Many Otaku events occur in the Summer, as well! I have secret cosplay spies all over the U.S. looking for cool cosplay characters. They recently went to JAFAX in Grand Rapids, Michigan, which took place this year from June 23–24. JAFAX is in its 17th year and took place at Grand Valley State University and, amazingly, opens its doors free of charge. Many con-goers really enjoy the college campus setting since it was a nice open campus and they could take pictures in front of beautiful scenery.
I was so excited to get pictures from JAFAX since there were a lot of original characters and great costumes. It is hard for me to choose my favorite! Let’s take a look at the cosplayers of The Great Lakes and tell me who you like the best!
