It's been a while since we had an edition of Virtual Boy, which takes note of Nintendo's weekly downloadable releases. It's understandable, unfortunately, because Nintendo so rarely offers up much worth talking about, but this week sees the release of a special gem from Yasumi Matsuno (Vagrant Story, Tactics Ogre), Crimson Shroud.
Crimson Shroud is part of Level-5's Guild01 series of downloadable games, previous entries of which have featured creators like Suda51 (No More Heroes, Lollipop Chainsaw). This one is some straight-up oooold school RPG action, taking nods from pen and paper games with real-time dice rolls implemented.

Other additions this week include a digital release of WayForward's Adventure Time: Hey Ice King why'd you steal our garbage?!!, Wii U demos for Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed and Rayman Legends, Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition for Wii U, and more, including something for Nintendo 3DS and DSi called, wait for it, Chuck E. Cheese's Alien Defence Force.
